    Thanks for uploading..

  • are you a girl?

  • I appreciate your videos, I just have the hardest time with websites...i'm a student tryint to learn this the best way I can.

  • TOO BLA BLA

  • @robertonly100589 There are several real quick not as descriptive videos out there. They increase the frame speeds and play lots of cool music... you may appreciate those types a bit more.

  • @MicheleLee777 mam i need your help in the learning of PHP using dreamweaver 8..i m doing MS Software Engineering but due to lack of my interest in my bachelor, i didn't learn that much..now i need ur guidance if u could send me some lessons & can guide me...

  • good stuff thank you:)

  • The video has nothing to do with the title. I wanted to see how to build a spry menu and had to sit through more than 9 minutes of how to create a web site folder. State at the beginning of this video that if you're an advanced user of Dreamweaver, you can skip to video 9 or something like that. I wasted all of this time only to view what I've done for years..

  • I'm sorry you had to sit through this free video that is offered to Newbies, and the description states exactly what it is. I can however point you towards VTC, and Lynda's videos (google search) but they will cost you. Good luck to you, and again I apologize for having you sit through this.

  • you explain the clips very well, i have found the first 2 very useful.

cant wait to watch the rest.

    very good..thankyou

  • Thank you very much. Good luck building your web pages :)

  • i've imported my web layout from Photoshop, and having problems inserting a Spry Menubar, cannot center it on my page, it keeps on shifting the slices around!

  • I've just made a video tutorial (currently in edit) that shows people how to design a layout in Paint Shop Pro (or even Photoshop) then learn how to use it within Dreamweaver so that this issue you mention does not happen. The issue is you are likely using "sliced" images. You must set the cells to have the image as the background. Hope that helps. If not visit michelespaintshop com and see if anything there can help :) GOOD LUCK!

  • Thank you, MicheleLee, that worked!

  • Hi farrukhbig. I'm so glad I could help. I know how frustrating it can be when you're trying to design a website and things just do not go as planned. Good luck to you.

  • Hi, I have tried to watch many a video on the tutorials of dreamweaver as I find them more helpful than reading about it. I found this video tutorial very useful and easy. Thanks for the video, it is clear and easy to understand. Keep up the good work!

  • Hi alida thank you very much. I appreciate your kind feedback, and so glad you found them helpful.

  • Lets translate this to spanish for Latin America. I am a MSMIS graduate looking to work in Latin America.

  • HOW CAN I USE UI COMMENT FORM

  • very clear thnx... apparently thers dreamweaver cs4 now?

  • Thank you. Yes, there is a CS4 now. The CS4 is very nice especially for those that are more advanced and use it on a daily basis. They made using DW easier for users that like to use (includes) PHP and alike

  • Hi MicheleLee777, I have been watching your vids while I'm learning web design.

I have seen some so-called professional web developers saying they think writing code from scratch is better and Dreamweaver creates bad code etc etc.

What do you think about this? Do you think it's like they are stuck in their ways and don't want to make it easier or something?

I find it very useful and would think that coding from scratch would not be time-efficient.

  • It is true that writing code yourself without dreamweaver makes you finish up with better code. Dreamweaver adds some unnecessary code, but I don't know much more than that. Personally I use dreamweaver though as it is, in my opinion faster and easier that coding by hand, but Is till go into the code and work on it as well.

  • Yes exactly! It is our responsibility to toggle between code and design view to check our work. Example if you were to remove a paragraph, I suggest you head to code view and check to see if it left a lingering empty paragraph tags. I also find some issues with Javascripts, but the new CS4 has come up with ways to locate dead JS codes and help you clean them. That is the keyword "help you". People complain about DW, but have you tried anything like sitespinner LOL.. Enough said.

  • I will offer my opinion. Everyone has their own opinions to this. First and foremost not everyone has time or cares enough to learn HTML-CSS. Due to this we have WYSIWYG editors. It is very true that coding your own site with notepad-notepad ++ is much leaner & cleaner. However, it all goes back to what you know. IF you are very familiar with HTML you can easily use Dreamweaver and have clean code because you yourself can clean it. It honestly is not as bad as some make it out to be.

  • Well they are correct in many ways, but they also are missing out to. I feel either way you can gain and lose out. The problem where they are saying "bad code" is that example you put in paragraph, and later you back it out. The code will leave an empty paragraph tag. This is up to you the designer to get in there and check your work. Why would DW allow this? I feel it is trying to keep your layout as you planned it such as spaces (keeping breaks intact) It is hard to explain better here.

  • can you help me with something on adobe dreamweaver i made a video on what i need help i post a video respond

  • THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS!:)

  • Hi littlestar1562 ... You're very very welcome :)

  • The viewing quality on your site is much better. I must say its a little hard to navigate initially.

    But all in all THANKS!!!

  • Thank you achance000. All feedback is very helpful. We are in the middle of a change up with the tutorials section. I will make the tutorial page much easier to navigate. I made it the way I did because the tutorials themselves are larger and it just seemed to fit better. After the review I see exactly what you mean. THANKs!!!
