Was anyone else disappointed of how short the songs are and how much was left out of the OST?

@98sibuna A little bit. But I find that in all movies, beautiful snippets are cut out. For example in World's End, where Davy Jones Fights with Bill Turner and then the dieing Will stabs his heart. I thought the music in that scene was truly epic.

They just need to take every single second of music put in a movie and place it on the soundtrack. Especially with Hans Zimmer, who is truly amazing.

@NightmareTroubador I think part of it depends on the will of whoever's in charge of releasing the music. Take the Scott Pilgrim film and its soundtrack; both a score and soundtrack were released, and I can't think of any bit of music in the film not being released. Another example which comes to mind is the Tim Burton/Danny Elfman Anniversary Box set with new cues. Maybe who knows, in future someone may be more appreciative of the Pirates' film scores and release a fuller version?
