They think as long as some of the victims are sex offenders, hey, it's alright. I mean, they're all criminals anyway, right? Nevermind some of them are actually childhood sexual abuse victims who turned to drugs to numb out the pain, then got arrested for a drug offense, and happen to be young and weak. Yeah I caught my 15 year old smoking. He's a great student, very polite, works a part time job in his spare time, has never been in trouble with the law and is an all round great young man.

But I'm such a poor excuse for a parent because he close to smoke a cigarette.

You said you'd feel like a failure as a Mother! I would imagine allowing a small child to walk home alone and not noticing he hadn't returned home until it was dark hours later would be the more alarming thing for a parent to do.

No I'm not an attorney, I just think that considering the trauma this young buy had endured I'm sure smoking would be the least of his parents concern

I stated that I caught my teenage smoking. I didn't say I allowed him to, there's a big difference sweety. So calling me 'a failure as a parent' doesn't really make much sense does it.
