@hookaweee200, You need to do some serious growing up. Complaining here serves no one. If you did not learn important puppet making skills by paying attention to the images, then you missed a great opportunity to help yourself to this treasure. Learning about another maker's process and learning steps is as important as the technical step by step you were hoping for. Listen to one of the best pieces of advice featured here: go learn with masterS.
this is so beautiful I love this. Watching this is inspiring to me as an artist. As a person too. this is beautiful. I am not a marionette maker or anything, but i want to learn as much art forms as i can and i stumbled upon this thinking i might try my hand at it. seeing this is melting my heart.
IS IT NOT POSSIBLE to take the latest in articulated 16 inch high fashion BJD dolls like Sybarites, Deva dolls, and Jamieshow and string them to work as a marionette? Do you have to unstring these high fashion expensive dolls to achivee this or can i be attempted to try without doing permanent harm. advice is always helpful as is stop motion articulation dolls to move realistically frame by frame.
This is a very helpful set of photos, just don't expect an instant make-a-marionette-in-5-minutes type of tutorial. The views of hands and feet being carved step by step from 1:07 are great. This is gold if you know what you're looking at. Thank you Yvette.
@hookawee200 Even thought she didnt, she talked about her experiences and spoke of some processes. This video isnt dumb at all. There are other videos you can look at if you want to make your own puppet :) She is entitled to make her video any way she wants.
Thank you for that, I was thinking about starting to expand my knowlege at art to Puppetry, and your video made me sure this is a direction i want to explore... again, Thank you! and good luck.
Your puppets are amazing, contratulations ( :
