Our system is built internally..
Glow boards is riveted on and a battery pack out side of it..so lame

Actually dude, only the 1st-gen Glowboardz have rivets.
The battery pack, which is mounted neatly on the top of the deck, lasts 9+ hours.
If the batteries die, you can replace them instantly.
I couldn't be happier with mine...
