David, I meant this comment regarding What MewFushisDad said, I know the Netherlands is bicycle oriented. In many places in America bicycles are still a bit scarce.
Even outside of the local University bicycling is big here, and still growing at a good pace especially with the economy being down as it is...
I'm glad to hear that cycling is growing. Of course, the challenge is to do this without people being forced to cycle for economic reasons. What has been done here is to make cycling an extremely attractive form of transport for everyone.
BTW, if you want a basket, get in touch. I make them.
Very cool video! David I like that recumbent you ride with the baskets. I have used it for inspiration on my next one..
Where I live in S.Cal I will see hundreds of riders on some days..so it matters where you live, if I ride through the local university when classes get out, I may see a few hundred student/cyclists in a few minutes..
There is a bit of a difference. 60% of all journeys In Groningen are by bike. As a result, you see lots of bikes everywhere all the time, not just near the university when the classes come out.
Lovely to see that many cyclists, are there any accidents?

That's amazing. Simply Amazing. Here in America I am seeing perhaps one or two other cyclists a day.
