Sold Out: A Threevening With Kevin Smith Trailer

I loved the first two "Evening With" shows, but this was a big disappointment. He spent an hour talking about his dogs, about which I couldn't care less. And he closed by going into insanely explicit details about his haemorrhoids, and there was a palpable sense that NO ONE in the room wanted to hear it. Since he recorded this, I have seen Kevin Smith live in Dublin and he was terrific. But the show here was not a great night for him.

@zufgh Although that music was used at the end of Die Hard (awesome) it was actually written for the finale of a different movie, ALIENS - the scene where Ripley climbs out of the power loader and opens the airlock to kill the alien queen. The piece of music is found on the Aliens CD. Wonder why they didn't use it?

I love Kevin Smith. I love his Evening With DVDs. They make me laugh. But it seems like it is just a big ego boost to keep putting out DVDs about yourself.

it's the DVD companies that put the DVDs out, and he genuinely likes speaking, why else would he put out the Smodcasts? I was in the audience for this and he's a terrific speaker and story teller. I think if there's any filmmaker that has the least inflated ego it would be Kevin Smith, he's open about how he feels about his work and never tries to make himself out to be something he's not.
