I can get a pretty good yellow, but of course I use golden cake or french vanilla.

But you forgot 2 colours.. Or 3 if you get technical.

True rainbow 7 colours.

Pride rainbow 6 colours.

Takes a damn while to make a 6 layered rainbow cake.

i've found that the color looks better if you use Gel Food Coloring its a little more expensive but is so much better. And if you double the recipe by using 2 cake mix's instead of one and you can use all 6 colors and you don't have to spoon all the colors you can just pour 3 colors in each pan:) it is easier!

if you use a budnt or bundt pan how ever you spell it

and cut it in half it looks like a rainbow add a lil food coloring to the icing and you can make it like a rainbow :D

thx a lot 4 this video...i make my chocolate marble cake with same style...but once when i tried this rainbow cake in that way....it really turned very bad...the colours mixed up....my oven has a problem...it bakes at a very slow speed that even white mixture turns brown...so in rainbow cake mixture i wasnt able to differentiate between colours after baking...should i make it on my gas ...i mean like a double boiler....because it will not brown the mixture....i really need ur suggestion....

im not an expert so dont take me to seriously haha. maybe its the pan your using and its turning brown, it could be the oven your using. try google for some prof. help...good luck!
