In 1994, I took a scouting group from Ballinger on this loop. It was great. Although we took the hardest route first and made it about half way around on day two when we got lost and decided to turn back, we covered some very beautiful and desolate scenery. At night is was so quiet as there are no cars or plane noises. Hopefully they have better maps of this area.

Nice pictures! Im going out there this may with some freinds to complete the 107 mile trail on our bikes. it shoud be awesome and take about 4 days to do i cant wait.
