@baryon15 there is; I don't know if it's outside as well as inside, but I know they have comically named it ''at the top'' when it's only about 2/3 of the way up! it's still the highest observation deck on earth though

What are they going to put in it?! You can only have so many shopping malls, apartments and hotel rooms?
I've not been to Dubai - but it all seems to be a bit of a 'castle built in the sand'...without foundation, a bubble waiting to burst.
