i still think the mouse is better, i dont know, the trackpad is like a touchpad, and the mouse have more precision than that and i think is more agil, the trackpad bring some interesting things like preview and foward pages, but the mouse is aparently faster and precisely (sorry about my english)

@matsas16193i've got an a magic mouse and i used to love it. But now i hate it. 2 reasons: it's very easy to broke it and lion. With the new os lion you can do a lot of cool stuff with the trackpad and so it's a magic experience. So, in my opinion you have to take a trackpad if you have osx lion. And than, if you are a gamer you can buy a logitech mouse for 10€, so you use the trackpad for internet and stuff and the cheap mouse for games (that is way better than the magic mouse).

@RPatatinis When I use photoshop or play any games, it seems to work just as great as a mouse. It's just less motion with your arm, and more with just your hand.

There is a 3rd party app called Jitouch, that really utilizes the multi-touch features of the apple trackpad. It's basically "keyboard shortcuts" but for a trackpad, and you can even assign keyboard shortcuts to gestures on the trackpad.
