@PsychopathicFilms the program i used was Magix Movie Edit Pro 11. Overlapping was straight forward, took two clips, background clip (track1) 100% opacity, foreground clip (track2) 50-60%. Metallic effects were simply the result of random color changes, shifts, quantizations until i found something i liked. Hope this helps you out.
