Joe Plays the Applause AE14-1

Nice, I just got an AE 14-9 given to me. Really ruff condition. Any suggestion what to do about worn out frets. They got groves from the strings. Is there a neck available for replacement? Any help is greatly appreciated.

@rccthehood I bought mine used in 1980 and it still stays in tune, Ive been usung MArtin mediums, what strings have you found that sound the best?

@trimphbsa I have D'Addario EJ16 Phosphor Bronze Light on now and they sound brilliant

I've begun collecting Moosup Applauses and I even have the 1000th one made, signed by all the factory workers and Bill Kaman. They can be great guitars. My favorite is an AA14-1 like the one in this video that was trashed when it arrived. I performed surgery on it and now it's scary good.

I've had the same acoustic for the last 22 years, an Applause AA12. These are wonderful instruments and relatively on the less expensive(cheap) side... Mine is a 1981, the date of manufacture is ink stamped between the neck and body(where it unbolts). Love the sound and playability. Good job on the video!!!
