im 174 and can do 22 chin ups straight...but to match this i'd have to put 100 lbs of weights strapped on me...OMG UR STRONG. and dude i been searching for a fat guy doin chin ups..looks lik my search has ended! =)

The hard part is getting to be able to do 1.
Well pushups helped me, but also, if you cant do them while hanging, jump up, and slowly come down. Do this till your arms get sore and in about 1-2 months you should b able to do 1.
this is a real inspiration because im around the same weight as you and i really want to lose weight. if you have any more tips besides eating right i'll be very glad to accept them. my weight goal is around 215
chin ups, deadlifts and squats are the best for fat lose and muscle because they use alot of muscle areas and use up alot of energy which should make ur metabolism go crazy
awseome job dude! You go the right idea about training with your body weight, chin ups, dips, push ups, the plank, etc. are some of the simplest but most effective workouts. Hey if you kepp up the work pretty soon you'll have to change your youtube name ;)
Thanks man. I've always wanted to be able to control my bodyweight so that is something I am focusing on now. I still hit the weights ahrd and heavy, ubt I make sure to get in my BW exercises several times a week or worked into my other training sessions. As far as name change? I dunno.
Good job... how tall are you anyway at 281 lbs? I am 5'7" and was 287 at my heaviest, now am currently 198 and want to go down to around 170 (maybe lower later on) in the coming months, and I can only do a 1/3 chin-up.
im 5'11 ...280 lbs trying to drop to 250lbs then 230 then 200lbs .. any advice? no weights i have the billy bands which are resistant bands perfect push ups iron gym pull up bar and i play basketball.. any advice?? any1 reading this can hit me up with advice too.. thanks
I made a goal to do one chin-up too. So far, I can only pull myself halfway but it's better than two weeks ago, when I could barely even flex my arms, haha!
