Can't see exactly how you hold the line before you snap it. Do you put a little slack in it? Do you pull straight out or are you pulling back?

Hooked myself earlier today but I hooked myself on the joint part of my index finger. Would've been nice to have known about this technique instead of doing it my way. I just used needlenosed pliers and kept pulling and pulling. Hurt like no tomorrow and it still does.

Share this video with everyone! We have seen some TORE UP anglers from trying to remove a hook with force!!!! If not done correctly you will rip the meat and skin clean off and do some damage for real! This video will help them remove the hook safely and it can be done by yourself.
