I heard it sometimes "locks" and won't play the video. Why does it lock? If a video is downloaded from YouTube and transferred to the iPod, would it then "lock"?

ive been to an apple conference and they connect their ipod touch somehow and it actually comes up with a picture of your ipod on the screen and whatever button you press, it shows it being pressed on the screen.. anyone know how/where i can get one?

I've always wondered how they do that... if they have the technology, why not utilise it? It seems so stupid that Apple would restrict the capabilities of the iPod and TV connection when they have the technology to allow on screen menus...

What do YouTube vids look like on a TV? Do they look good, or all pixelated? Just curious. I have some on my ipod, and would love to play them back on a regular tv set but not if they would look bad.

Got my cables on ebay, with shipping totaled12.00, youtube vids are a wee bit Pixelated, but Itune purchased vid is great, and ripped dvds also good quality. Just bummer about youtube which is the main reason for purchase.

Just wondering though, I use a freeware program called "SUPER" to convert all my DVDrips to mp4's. Question is, what is the correct dimensions for the movies so that none of the movie will be cropped off? 640:280? 320:240?

well you can connect it to your tv and it plays your music and plays your vids, it costs 50 bux, and you could get it at an apple store, maybe radioshack, maybe circuit city or best buy
