Two things I'll remember about 1998, Titanic winning Best Picture and JOHN ELWAY sailing the crew of the S.S. Broncos to a Super Bowl victory! Elway is like the TITANIC of NFL quarterbacks! Just like how the movie captivated audiences, Elway captivated both Broncos fans and NFL buffs alike. If only the Oscars honored sports, he would win Best Actor.

Former NFL coach when asked who is the best QB of all time "If I had to pick a QB for one game its Montana but if I had to pick a QB for one play it would be Elway" - I think he said it best. Elway was the most physically gifted QB of all time and he had no weakness. I'd have to say either he or Montana is the best of all time.

John Elway or John Legend has played his way from the late 80's to the 90's to get his superbowl ring. He played til his second year with the new Broncos uniforms. He won back to back with an old but still playable body. On Superbowl 32, his team did it for him (This one's for John). On 33, he did it himself with "the run". He will be remembered as one of the best or the best QB's of all time. He led his team to more victories and 4 qtr. comebacks in his career than anyone else.The Magnificent 7

Scouts and GMs don't make judgments like dumb fans like you. They always considered Elway a great quarterback. Writers too, even in 1995 he was a lock Hall of Famer according to a poll of HOF voters. Elway's team was eviscerated in the Super Bowls, it's not like his play was going to stop the other team. Football is a complicated sport, followed by the dumbest fans.....

Yeah, except Denver D was one of the worst run defenses ever to win a Super Bowl, and their overall D was mediocre in almost every category. And I love TD, but what happened to him when Elway retired? He couldn't averaged under 3 yards a carry for the first 4 games of the season, the he got injured. Denver started 0-4 in '99 with the same players(including TD), except for Elway. So get ur facts straight before you chime in with an opinion? TD needed Elway more than Elway needed him.
