Although this song doesnt have a "religious" kind of vibe. God's love still shines through. @RachelBeadles1513 Just because somebody is a christian artist, doesn't mean they have to sing about God 24/7. They still have the musical freedom anyone else has, they write about what they're feeling normally. The songs artists choose to put out, however, are the ones they, or a producer, chose for the image they want to have.
@mesare120 I can see both sides of this. On one hand, you hear his Christian songs on the radio, and when you get the album, some of the songs sound secular and not Christian at all. You're right, they do also have the artistic freedom to do what they want. Let me point out this aspect though, it's obviously about a girl he's interested in, and even talks about a sensitive, caring side, something I wish more Christian people had, and I think it's sweet. He sounds like a nice guy.

@id493337 I wish I knew how that whole gay stigma started, because in the 80's it was the norm for guys to be caring/sensitive/etc, but today it's a sign of "weakness" and you're gay or whatever for being that way! I think this may be more of the homophobic movement than anything else- the sort of antigay movement that opposes this HUGE gay movement of the last 10 to 15 years. Lol I can't believe this is an actual song. This is exactly me ha ha! I didn't see the Notebook 7 times but I have seen all of the Nicholas Sparks book films and embarrassingly enough I have cried in all of them. But it seems like there aren't any girls out there looking for a guy like me but that's ok because I know the Lord has my Eve out there and when its his time he will reveal her to me =)
I kind of think this song has a deeper message...what I got from it is that girls should watch out for guys who insist that they're not like other guys, but are actually exactly what they say they're not. I kind of think this song has a deeper message...what I got from it is that girls should watch out for guys who insist that they're not like other guys, but are actually exactly what they say they're not. The guy in this song keeps saying pickup lines and changing for whatever he thinks the girl will like, all while sounded like the perfect guy. It's pretty funny actually. =)
