  • These are my 2 favorite juicers, I have them both. If I could only have 1, it would be the Champion.

I wish you would do this test again, but put the pulp through the Champion a 2nd time. I always get more juice out of my Champ when doing this & the juice isn't as pulpy as the Omega's. This accounts for the weight difference & should be taken into consideration.

The higher temp on the Champ juice is still way below body temperature & shouldn't make any difference if the juice is drunk soon.

  • @Wretch972 To get clear juice from omega you can simply pour the juice through the juicer again =)

  • @euJUICERScom Or use a nut bag... DOH!!

  • @Wretch972 Hi and thank you for nice comment. We are happy that you like your Champion. There are many tricks for most juicer.. We could elaborate on that.. putting the pulp second time to make more juice.. or pouring the juice through once again to get less pulp. We try to make it fair so we use the juicer as most people would.. and then measure the results =).

  • I wish you would do this test again, but put the pulp through the Champion (or both machines) a second time. I always get much more juice out of my Champion when doing this.

  • @Wretch972 Hi and thank you for comment. Good idea, we will think of this for next comparison videos with Champion.

  • Which one of the two makes the more pulpy (thicker) juice?

  • @cine4home I would say that Omega VRT330 used to make pulpier juice. Now the new screen Omega VRT350 or Huroms with the new pulp outlet do better job. It also depends on fruits and vegetable that you process. If you prefer cleaner juice you can pour the juice through the the machine again and you will get a clean juice.

  • @euJUICERScom Yah but the Omega has a better warranty. It's still carrying a 10 year warranty and Hurom is outsourced their support and is only offering a 1 year warranty. That's pretty crappy for a decent juicer, don't you think?

  • @cine4home Both machines are pretty much the same when it comes to juice consistency. What we do to thicken up our juice is take a couple spoonfulls of the extracted pulp and mix it back into the juice. This way you have 2 advantages: 1. You decide how thick/think the juice should be and 2. You decide exactly which pulp should be in the juice.

  • Which is the easiest to clean?

  • @whitbyjet65 Both machines are easy to clean. With Champion you might spend more time with clening the cutter and on the other hand with Omega you will spend more time with the screen. Jakub

  • I have found that if I freeze my vegetables such as carrots and celery before I juice, the result is cold juice, even though the masticating action runs at a somewhat higher temperature. Also, cutting up the celery reduces the celery string wrap around effect. Also, colder veggies = less foam, more juice. Would be nice to have your comparison on ease of clean-up. Thanks.

  • @ricvonzipper It is true that you are able to get results with the Champion when doing leafy greens. We are only saying that there are machines available now where the results are much better. In regards to clean-up, the VRT (and Hurom) are both self cleaning machines to a certain extent. You wont find a world of difference when cleaning though as the champion also has few parts. Our tests have shown that the champ. is good for hard vegetables where the VRT (Hurom) does a great job with...

  • ...soft and hard fruits and vegetables along with leafy greens. A better all-around machine in my opinion but this is why we make the videos, so people are able to judge for themselves and make up their own mind. Thanks for your post ricvonzipper!

  • How about which is better for juicing wheatgrass?

  • When it comes to these 2 machines, the Omega VRT is better for sure. Reason for this is that the leafy greens and wheat grass mainly get tangled around the cutter and is not able to be juiced on the Champion. On this video at 2:10 we do some leafy greens and you are able to see the results.

  • Theoritically speaking yes but the main difference is that the Omega falls into the "Cold juicer" category which means that it juices at a rpm of 200/rpm or less. Where the Champion juicer juices at 1400/rpm. The higher the revolutions, the more heat which is generated. Heat deteriorates the juice quality/vitamins/live enzymes.

  • I wanted to get the Champion juicer because I hear all this talk about how cool the juice from masticating juicers are but this demonstration tells another story.

  • A juicer is only a good/great juicer if it fulfills all your needs. This being said, if you tell us what it is you expect from your juicer and/or what you plan to mainly juice... then we can tell you if the Champion is the right choice or if there is a machine available which better suits your needs. The last thing you want is to invest money only to have your juicer just end up in the basement because it didnt meet your requirements/expectations.

  • I Love my Champion

  • The Champion is a great machine for what it is capable of but it is somewhat limited when it comes to such things as leafy greens and juice yield when compared to the VRT for example.
