Abbas does not have a mandate for all of Palestine to negotiate. Israel are using the rift between Hamas and Abbas Admin to divide and weaken Palestine, and force the admin against Hamas. Regardless, as I have said before, I am worried that if we do see concessions made by Israel within a year, it will only be because they are laying the groundwork for a strike on Iran, and will need support from the allied countries when all hell breaks loose. Let's hope this is not the case after all.

These are not "peace talks". The reason why Israel will fail is whenever a group of people hold themselves above the rest and actively discriminates it creates discontent and hostilties. The apartheid occurring and has been occurring for decades is one of the most disgraceful marks on humanity. Boycott Israel as was done with South Africa. Boycott them and all companies that deal with them. The politics and politicians involved are simply interested in furthering the occupation. This has been the Israeli policy from the beginning. It is not a secret.
Only boycott their businesses would work. It has to be grass root efforts as this situation is simply morally unjust.

All but 26% of this military aid is for the purchase of military hardware from American companies only. A large portion of their military comes from international aid. They don't make as much as you think.

@jayluketa The only aid Israel receives is from US, pretty much. And most of it goes to defense spending. In terms of warships and warplanes Israel resorts to buying them instead of making due to their small economy, but they do modify them. Everything else is pretty much Israeli made. Infact, they make their own UAVs, which they're good at. Google IDF.
