  • Beth is hot in a leotard.

  • this has 9 releases! insane.

  • how did she not win at the olympics?!

  • well she got deducted before her dismount when her legs swooshed side ways and almost hit the bar unless if i am talking about the other routien.

  • plus she didn't stick her dismount, that's what put her out of meddling

  • That full pirouette before the dismount KILLED her routine. I'm speaking seriously.

  • Loves her releases, just wish she could get her handstands more in line!

  • holy FOOK that new move is AWSOME! Real ingenuity doesn't necessarily come from the cookie cut winner.

  • @Yuri92001 Very, very true.

  • what was her injury

  • She's A Real Inspiration..

I Try And Folow In Her Footsteps It's Got Me Somewhere But Not All The Way.. x

    (yet) ;)

  • she has really poor execution for having that much difficulty

  • I am sure that Beth connects her first Tkachev to an immediate Pak? She doesnt do it here though. Still an awesome routine, and quite long for a bars routine. She sure has some strength!!!

  • She doesn't connect the Ray to a Pak because she does the Tweedle after that.

  • WOW!!!

OK, so others have cleaner execution but in my opinion this is BY FAR the most exciting bars routine out there. I can't WAIT to see what she does in Beijing -- and I sure wish they would give extra credit for creativity :)

  • you don't get extra credit for creativity unfortunately. One used to get bonus points for originality, ie: if no one else did that same skill then you'd get bonus. I love how Beth keeps adding more and more difficulty. However, I'm scared that she will get heavily penalised if she doesn't reach handstand position. With Nastia, He kexin and Yang Yilin having similar A scores and better execution, it will be a close call. It's so exciting though, I cannot wait for these summer olympics!!!!!!!!!!

  • flair your arm you freak

lol jk jk jk jk jk jk

  • It will be 7.8 if she hits everything perfomed in this exercise and when she performs the toe on full before the dismount as she did in apparatus finals the day after this was filmed

  • WOAH!!!! Wot the hell is her start value??? Awesome bars beth!!!!

  • come on Beth! stay healthy and show them what you can do. This lady has been a fantastic asset to british gymnastics and truly deserves an olympic medal to add to her wonderful collection. I for one will be cheering her on and on, to perform at her best. Because if she does ooooooo the world better beware!

  • she has legit chance for gold!

  • Wow! Amazing!! And beautiful leo too!;P

  • she still has the toe on full going into the dismount she performed it really well on day 2 and will increase he a score I think to 7.7 or 7.8

  • Wow she keeps adding new elements. I wish she would have kept the toe on full piroutte for the end though going into the dismount.

  • I really hope she medals in Beijing but there's always 1 handstand short somewhere, or 1 pirouette over before it's done and they'll be out to cane her for sure. We love you though Beth especially because you always come back for more and reinvent your routine again.

  • Love the new toe-on Tkachev half - Ezhova transition combo - well done Beth. We love you.

  • The best bar worker in the world right now if she hits is He Kexin.

  • Nastias is 7.7

  • What's Tweddle's A score?

  • i think this is a 7.6 but she supposed to have a 7.8 in Beijing

  • sorry haven't got the hang of this yet, that was supposed to be reply to dabestgymnastxX's question.. !

  • kl thnx

  • I do agree she has great skills but unfortunately not that well done. Her first handstand she does not get on the top. Here pirouette neither... she does not complete it on top.Her releases are OK though.

  • I agree i think Beth is probably the best bar worker in the world when she hits.

  • Yeah i see beths warm up routine on day 2 and it was great and if she hits like she did then she can get gold next month!

as i have said for years now beth is the best in the world on bars and if she hits like she can next month she will make more GB history!

  • Nastia's exercise is out of 7.7

  • here it was 7.6 if she hits everything it will be 7.8 I think wu,hu

  • do u no what nastia's A score is now?

  • What's her A score now?

  • Glad to see her upgrade, but the Karpenko before Markelov apparently passed the handstand. She needs some sharp angles... Anyway, this is a great routine. I like the composition.

  • i like beth..but not this routine:(..i prefer her 2006 routine...this one is to rushed,i think he should take out the toe-on tkachev half and stick to maybe a toe-on tkatchev to pak full?

  • sorry but that ono looks like crap compared to nastia's and yang's

  • agreed. i actually think she's trying to do a Bi though (what nastia does) where the gymnast does a full spin on one arm from el-grip to overgrip before hitting the handstand. an ono, from my understanding, is what hollie vise used to do...a full spin on one arm from el-grip to overgrip after the handstand. beth's starts before the handstand and ends after so i'm not sure how it would be credited. a Bi is an E and i think an ono is a D but i could be wrong.

  • interesting. although nastia calls it an ono so i dont know

i think that may be the same difference between a healhy and a lin. i've heard nastia refer the same skill using both those terms; i think again one might be before handstand anad the other after

  • tmc, i still think it's wrong to not flair your arm. that's the fun part about it!

  • The Ono/Bi without flair is called a Karpenko. Correct me if I'm wrong, a Karpenko used to be a D skill, but now it has the same difficulty as Ono/Bi.

  • and Ono and a Bi are the same thing

Ono is the MAG name and Bi is the WAG name

What Nastia does is considered an Ono/Bi

  • was this the aa or event finals ?? and do u no what her a score was ??

  • It looks like the AA (unless she wore the same leo in event finals which i'm sure she didn't) so her score was 16.450.

  • It was the AA, score was 16.450

  • I think Beth just needs the numbers in the gym she hurt her ankle slightly a couple of weeks ago but needed to get the routine out on the competiton floor.

  • Those handstands! Hopefully her set will look better come the Olympics.
