all about torque? WTF are you talking about? The ONLY thing that moves a car is effect (HP).. Torque x rews = power.. It doesnt matter if your car has 1000000 tourqes Nm... What matters is at what rews the torqe delivers... So an engine that rews 10000 rpm and has 500 nm is as fast as an engine that rews 5000 rpm and has 1000 nm.. Its alittle bit more complicated than that, but just to illustrate what i mean..

@karjohden I understand that when your engine revs, it makes power but you said torque is nothing without revs. Horsepower is equally nothing without revs. You won't make any power without revving the engine. But if you did not have torque the car would not move, horsepower doesn't get you going; torque is what gets a vehicle moving. And you cannot compare an F1 race car with a truck; they are two polar opposite vehicles. There are way too many differences to be able to compare these vehicles.

The reason why i compared a truck engine to a F1 engine is because its the best way to illustrate what i mean.

@karjohden Because a F1 engine isnt made to be durable and carrie heavy loads, its parts are served after every race, to create a lot of HP in a truckengine you need a lot of tourqe to produce the power needed to move its heavy load.. thats because of the durability issues, wich requires low rpm's and a lot of gears.. you could in the theory move the same load with the F1 engine despite its low tourqe.. so as i said.. torque doesnt say anything on its own, but effect/power/hp does..

Its not a LP 560.. Its a tuned and rwd converted Lambo Gallardo of the previous model. Putting out about 520 hp. It has carbonfiber rims btw.. Unsprung weightsaving is tha shit! So its quick as hell, but as i said, not a LP 560

Oh jesus Shrike2415, you must be one of them people that thinks losing exhaust backpressure is bad. Yeah, it'll cause a loss of up to 5 ft-lbs. of torque, nothing noticeable. It's all due to back pressure on the valves affecting duration by very small amounts of time, but allows engines to accelerate a LOT faster. Who would want to keep that couple ft.-lbs. of torque, rather than hitting the powerband faster?
