it basically means when people put themselves above God, when they "become" God in the church, then it fails.

i think their message is that when man puts himself in God's place, then everything will fall out of place and crumbles around them. But when man allows God to be ahead of everything in their lives, then God becomes their foundation and holds everything together :)
