"In the beginning" = time. "God created the heavens" =space, "and the earth" = matter. "Then God said let there be light" = energy. The scientific fabric of our reality stated so eloquently in the first sentence of the Holy Bible. Probably what sparked Einstein and Minkowski's "space-time continuum theory"

the truth is that christians cant fully explain god as much as scientists cant fully explain the universe. The difference is that scientists continue to look and find answers, but christians hold on to a 4,000 year old explanation for everything.

Answering questions only causes the need for more questions. It's the immaturity of people that spark the wars over religion. Why does it matter if God's real or not? It's the person's individual faith. Let them believe what they want. And, perhaps in due time, we'll find out the true answer to everything.

Religious writings were never intended as science textbooks. For example, the Bible, itself a volume of numerous individual writings, is religious literature. Its genre is not "science." Perhaps you're objecting to statements found in the Bible?
