She may not have the greatest voice,but she IS GOOD! Use has relatively good control, and stays within her range, and uses what she has very well. I am very impressed with her, and believe she can go far. God Bless Susan, kick butt!!

To me it's not about her other songs, or how good a singer she really is, it's about that one moment of seeing her sing that song from Les Miz for the first time. Thinking she would suck and then hearing the most beautiful thing. For me it's about a singular spectacular earth stopping moment.
She's an above average singer, but compared to other talent she isn't in the same ball park as people like Shaheen. I feel the only reason she's getting very popular is because of our first impression of her, and the Paul Potts syndrome since last season. She has a beautiful voice, and a wonderful delivery. But not on this song. It was sung too fast. A slower tempo would have suited her sooooo much better.

On his first audition he came out in a crumpled business suit and the crowd was mocking him like they did Susan and America was worse, they started booing him, but instead of running off the stage, he kept singing and his voice is a God given gift that turned the crowd around to where they were giving him a standing ovation like they did Susan. without the effect of her stage presence and the "shock factor" of her first audition, she really isnt much more than a good singer. Shaheen is the real talent on the show, that boy is going places. Or the voice of the new man who just sang the Les Miserables song, his tone is incredible.

To me it's not about her other songs, or how good a singer she really is, it's about that one moment of seeing her sing that song from Les Miz for the first time. Thinking she would suck and then hearing the most beautiful thing. For me it's about a singular spectacular earth stopping moment.

She's an above average singer, but compared to other talent she isn't in the same ball park as people like Shaheen. I feel the only reason she's getting very popular is because of our first impression of her, and the Paul Potts syndrome since last season. Had she looked like your average person, and sang like that, no one would think she was anything special.

I think it's sad that Americans are so ignorant that they don't know what on earth REAL talent is. Europeans have some of the best artists and voices out, why? 'CAUSE PEOPLE THEIR GO FOR TALENT NOT LOOKS! Most singers here in the U.S. are all lip singers whom sound like nails on a chalk board. I think Susan has a lovely voice & I personally don't care about her looks; I think she looks very kind. I hope Susan goes a long way with her talent, show the U.S. what really freaking talent is for once.

Zsanette1988 - I'm gonna have to say I PARTLY agree with you, because for example; Britney Spears, the Jonas Brothers, MOST of those heavy metal bands whose members can't even play their instrument OR sing well. But then again... I'm sure there have been some very talented artists come out of the U.S.
