Yes I know what you mean.The term "castle" was given to these Iron age forts because the foundations of the Norman and Medieval castles we have are the same.They were based upon the same earth working system with wooden or stone walled keeps.Have a look at Motte and Bailey archetypes which looks just like Castle Dore from above.
Thanks for putting this video up, looks like a uni-vallate fort any idea how many hectares are in side the main fort ?. Do like forts near the sea, might of been used for trade !
