i have a mango hornet the fastest 50 cc four stroke scooter made top speed is like 50 to 55 mph thats as fast as any four stroke 50cc scooter will do, a honda ellet is a bit quicker but wont run as fast,

There is no way in hell that this bike is doing anywhere close to 70mph. watch a few scooter 0-60 videos and listen to the rpms and how fast they look like they are going. your RPM's are too low for the speed you are claiming.

70KMH maybe but not 70mph.

Basically you may aswell give up and get a scooter with a proper engine such as a Piaggio. 1/4 of the cash spent would see a bike faster than yours.

My qt 50 does 32mph, but im trying hard to get it to pull 45mph so i am not so limited to the roads i can take. anyway, anything helps!! im going to take your advice and check into cleaning the carb, porting intake, and cleaning exhaust.

dude no hate at all here!!Ive seen 49cc 50s w tweeks do 65 so I back you as true, what I want to know is what crank did u stuff in there? how rough was the machining on the cases to shoehorn it in? those elites and sprees used the same stroke and as the expresses I tweek so I bet even though its a vert cylinder I bet they used the same cranks and journals. Is it a dio crank? Ive wondered if I could stuff one of the stroker dio cranks.

Dio you are full of fruit juice bru. I was able to accurately pick 2 points on the road that corresponded to your Scooter's time between points and divide by PI (mathmatical POI~ and your speed = 48mph, not 68mph. Semantics bru, it seems fast to you and your little buddies.

That is a nice bike, good speed run. Maybe because I weigh 210 pounds might have something to do with it or I need to get proper gears. I keep experimenting with this little hobby of mine. My set up it pretty basic, stock crank, no port work done, out of the box polini corsa bore (72cc). pg long exhaust, keli pulley, sef ramp, oko 28mm carb, main jet is bigger than most of the hawaii strokers! 150main jet. 8.4:1 gear ratio, weights running 5-6 grams sometimes a mix of both. Oil pump removed and plugged, running pre mix with ams oil 50:1 ratio. 91octane plus 1/2 ounce of octane boost. Thats it. I'm working on getting a stroker motor set up now.

Good job working with what you have but you should be able to get more speed from a stroker. My 72cc Honda with stock crank has gotten as high as 75mph!

what i do is i take off my air filter, and run an open carb. runs faster with minor air screw tuning, and sounds more animal. also take off the back casing off so clutch stays cool.

i get one 52mm sef crank. a 54mm true round bore. 33 keihin carb, kelli pulley, ct chrome intake, yoshimura stroker pipe, daytona ramp plate and daytona endurance outter rotor kit, krs adj. clutch. and my block and bore is ported. knife port.

My honda elite reached top speed, from a standing start in about 7 seconds. Watch the second counter on the video and judge for yourself. I will try and make the engine even faster in the future.
