I did all that you show in the video and it works very well, but I wanna know why when I insert a data in the table (datagridview) it isn't saved in the database. For example I write a new customer and I press the button SAVE but the datas about the new customer are not saved. Do you know why?? I hope you can answer my question.
I have a question, I made an application which call the different forms by clikcing the buttons. I created a database and when put the table on the form it showed me many errors. and it didnt run. Please tell me how can i fix the problem. Thanks
Ok sorry about the long term absence, few things, I am only trying to give basic reference to what can be done, I am not promoting that you should use this to setup your long term databases, this is only to get you a little hands on feel for using and creating databases.
Those that found it to be helpful I am glad, those that did not I am sorry but I do not provide the answers for you only a sign pointing in a direction for you to explore.
lol! Envision405: This vid wasn't about normalization. By the way, normalization is not a law. Its more like a hint. You can design your database the way you please. Normalization supports all 5 forms of relationships. Including having redundancy throughout all relations and no normalization at all. Thats why there are relational databases in the first place. To give you all choices.
@WolYou If normalization is to be used. They have "Laws" meaning you have certain degrees or FORMS of which you can follow. Normalization can actually support up to 6 levels of forms. All im saying is that your table does not follow any form of normalization. ^_^
Thank you...It's been really helpful....:)

@kshakia That question is very generic. There are many possibilities though.
1. Was all of your code correct before you inserted the database table?
2. If your code was correct beforehand, have you connected the table to your database correctly?
3. There could be many problems. Without seeing what's actually on your screen.. it would be hard to help. Hope I've helped somehow.

@rsmandudeguy
Hello there was no code at this point and this video only shows how to connect a database to the form.
There is much more to do after the connection is made but for the purposes of this video it was only showing how to make the connection.
I have created a revised video which is a better video quality to make it easier to see but the information is the same.
sorry about the long time before responding but i am in and out of the country alot.
