I love the Vocalworks especially ^^

  • SOAD 4 EVER!

  • I feel like a fucking god for finally having 79 songs by them memorized word for word.... I think I just hit the no-life level O_O....

  • Does this count as studying for science?

  • I believe this songs about how modern sience denies the existence of things as religion and the 'supernatural,' while it's actually obvious that they're there. For example, the FBI uses pshycics for years now to find victims and missing people, sucsefully, and the US army has spend millions on a telecinetic training program for soldiers. And they still haven't given a plausible explaination for the placebo effect.

  • @Duckieperson xD roflma and where have you heard this kind of bullshit?

  • @Duckieperson and if they did spent millions on 'telekinetic training for soldiers' then I'm really no surprised that your nation (the US) has so big debts xD coz sorry man, there is nothing like pshycics, telekinesis etc. xD

    1) ever heard about the 'butterfly effect'? :)

    2) then ever heard about the timespace (spacetime)?

    3) ever heard about quantum physics at all? :D

  • @Sunshrine2 First of all, I'm not from the US. And yes, I have heard about quantum physics, just as I have heard about spacetime and the butterfly effect. I fact, I know enough about it to see that it doesn't disprove what I said at all, it just doesn't explain it. But then again, there are plenty of other things it doesn't explain, like the Universe expanding at an increasing rate, while according to the law of gravity, it should expand at a decreasing rate.

  • @Duckieperson Heeh.. you've heard not enough ;) take some time a get yourself to some lectures about these problems and you'll see that there's already an explanation for these phenomenons. (FYI try searching DARK ENERGY and DARK MATTER - so you'll get the picture about the space..)

You've probably really just 'heard about butterfly effect' but you probably didn't 'understand the nature of the butterfly effect' as well as you've probably didn't understand the nature of the spacetime.. :)

  • @Sunshrine2 No, Dark Matter doesn't explain the Increasing- Expanding problem at all, it behaves exactly the same as Matter, exept for that it is made out of Anti-Protons and Positrons instead of Elektrons and Protons. Dark Energy would solve the problem, but it is just an educated guess. There has never been any clue to it's existence exept for that if it wouldn't exist out picture of the universe wouldn't make sense.

  • @Duckieperson roflmao, again NO YOU ARE WRONG.. the dark matter does NOT equal ANTI MATTER, that is made of positrons (the anti-electrons), anti neutrons and anti protons :) hey anyway gimme a call on skype if you have it, I'll be glad to explain it to you :) my skype is: Zafrin. (with that DOT on the end)

And it's not 'just an educated guess' because you know there are already some few experiments using the 'bending of light rays' thru the cloud of DM in the space :)

  • Comment removed

  • @Duckieperson The dark matter (or also sometimes called the 'hidden' matter by some physicist - well usually the not-US/UK, like the Czech physicist Jiří Grygar) is a matter of yet unknown 'behaviour' to be precise.. BUT! Not that unknown.. the neutrinos - the particles with near-to-no-mass and close-to-light speed - are also the part of a part (lol) of the dark matter.. also it's not just the dark matter, there is also something called the dark energy :) which is much more interesting..

  • @Duckieperson and.. I think you are refering about the 'classical' or Newton's law of gravity.. well as you may know this law of gravity is kinda not working very well in the space.. thus the Einstein's law of gravity (or ugh, better to say general and special relativity) is coming to solve the problem.. but eventhough this law of gravity is nearly perfect theory it has some (major) flaws.. and then comes the Law of quantum gravity :) try searching that too..

  • @Sunshrine2 And no, I'm not reffering to Newtons idea of gravity.

  • @Sunshrine2 woh what the fuck? "I'm really no surprised that your nation (the US) has so big debts xD coz sorry man, there is nothing like pshycics, telekinesis etc."

    1) shut the fuck up your giving me a headache.

    2) "nothing like "Pshycics" or telekinesis" OH! Ok... so you have the right to say that THERE IS NOTHING LIKE ECT ECT ECT man im sorry i didnt know you knew everything!!!!!!111111!!!! oh my god THIS GUY HERE KNOWS FOR A FACT THAT THESE DONT EXIST!!!!

    3) you are an ignorant bastard.

  • This discussion is by the way getting seriously off-topic.

  • @MrLuckystarz

    1) okay

    2) the aren't BECAUSE I AM TRYING TO EXPLAIN YOU WHY THE F*CK IT CAN'T EXIST! LISTEN! AND YES I KNOW A LITTLE BIT OF FACTS THAT REALLY CAN PROVE THAT THESE PHENOMENONS DO NOT EXIST (I hope this all cap was big enough for you to read)

    3) Why? Explain :) Because I wanna be a quantum physicist? Because quantum physics gave you internet, CDs, dvds etc.? Nothing such a Pshycics or telekinesis shit gave u anything... this is the first big proof.. it's just a huge moneywaster :)

  • @Sunshrine2 lol you are in-titled to your opinion man sorry if i infringed your rights. just had to point out that saying "no such thing" is a very very strong 3 set of words.

  • @MrLuckystarz you didn't :D don't worry ;) but I know that 'no such a thing' is a very strong set of words BUT.. really, do you think that these things can work without us knowing something bout the quantum physics? I highly doubt that just because, these things work purely on a quantum physics basis :) and.. to correct myself.. pshycics are a real moneywaster, but well.. they are also working like psychologists.. but i dunno.. I think it's better (and more precise) to flip a coin ;)

  • @Sunshrine2 Okay, I was wrong about the dark matter. But still, you have to abmit there's something wrong with modern day scientists. Take for example the placebo effect, people can be healed without real medication, and the doctors just ignore it. Just like the medieval terracentric scientists ignored the fact that they couldn't predict the sun's "orbit around the earth."

  • @Duckieperson well, maybe there are some nuances, that science haven't still told us, why the hell are they happening, but.. that's why the science is so funny :) becuz *you* have to find out!

  • @Duckieperson The placebo affect is a known scientific phenomena. It is the affect of the brain on the body. it is far from ignored. It has been extensively studied. As for the "Medieval terracentric scientists," They would absolutely have been able to chart the suns "orbit around the earth" because it would be identical to the orbit of the earth around the sun. Regardless of which body is moving, the orbit is the same. But heliocentric science was suppressed by religion, so, square with that.

  • @Duckieperson People can not really be healed much without medication. There are certain amazing things the mind is capable of such as closing blood vessels if you are bleeding out.

Most crazy things you hear of such as tumors disappearing by chanting versus are all fake. There are points of the body you can apply pressure to and will relax you, but all of that is still science. Science ignores nothing, not much is definite in science because people are always learning more.

  • @Duckieperson I will though admit that there are many organic herbs that will help cure many things that modern medicine will do the same as and give you no side-effects. But of course they don't want us using things like that because that means less money.

  • @Duckieperson NO! It's about the fact that furthering in science is killing us, think, what is the main thing we are trying to produce through science? WEAPONS!!! War, the stupid, ignorant cousin of science, it takes life away apposed to improving it. At least that's what i have gathered, but all in all, i disagree.

  • @crazedscotsman553 Hm, that could it also be. I whish I could hear the lyrics better. Oh, and I think War doesn't come trough science, it's more like we started investigating the world around so we could use it to destroy each other. War came first.

  • @Duckieperson LOL WHAT

  • I believe this songs about how modern sience denies the existence of things as religion and the 'supernatural,' while it's actually obvious that they're there. For example, the FBI uses pshycics for years now to find victims and missing people, sucsefully, and the US army has spend millions on a telecinetic training program for soldiers.

  • lol

  • First song i ever listened to from SOAD, it was love at first listen, SCIENCE

  • Who cares Religion is a GOOD thing, Its what diffirentiates good and bad actions, its what keeps humans in lines by threatening them. It is only bad because religion fanaticism and missonary work make it dangerous and corrupt.

  • @AvtomatPruneJuice religion has caused most wars u know...

  • @undeadsniper1997 well, depends on how you see it. Man created religion, religion "cause" war. They are more like an excuse for them.

  • @undeadsniper1997 agreed! And that's why the religion is kinda anachronism..

  • @undeadsniper1997 You do realize that humans dont realize the difference between good and bad on their own, right. If religion never came into play we would be alot alot more primitive and violent. Not to mention most scientific, mathmatical, technological, astrological, medical advances were made by muslims and that is a religion, no? Atheism and agnostics can choke on a dick because they really dont know what they are talking about.

  • @AvtomatPruneJuice +1! but just ehm, astronomical, not astrological. Astrology = horoscopes etc. :) but rememmber, if there'd be still religion, we will still be much more primitive, I mean like, renaissance, this was the dawn of technology.. just because we weren't the ppl just obeying th god's orders, but we also used OUR mind and brain.. then another age of god-obeying came.. I am afraid, that these things are shifting like a big wheel :)

  • @AvtomatPruneJuice "You do realize that humans dont realize the difference between good and bad on their own, right" If you kicked a cat it would dislike it, so it can differentiate between the two, if it couldn't it wouldn't understand why a kick is any different than a pat, and it can infer that other cats dislike being kicked and are hostile towards such behavior and friends are better than enemies. "Atheism and agnostics can choke on a dick" I'm gonna love and tolerate the shit out of you

  • @jaktrep Hmmm.... Agnostics believe that their are no right or wrong actions and only causes and effects. Honestly humans CANNOT differentiate good from bad, take a look at history. They can only differentiate what is good for themselves and what is bad for themselves not for others. Basically the "better them then me" concept applies, Here is another example someone "bullies" you and through the cycle of abuse you "bully" someone else. You disregard how bad it feels for them. Point proven.

  • @AvtomatPruneJuice Agnostics hold that the truth value of certain claims is unknowable or unknown. I think what you're thinking about is more akin to nihilism. "someone "bullies" you and [...] you "bully" someone else." well yes but you wouldn't bully someone unless there were something in it for you, in most or all cases validating your self confidence or a dose of dopamine. There are innumerable factors so I think what may appear as purely bad or good is more a question of moral priorities

  • @jaktrep You just negated your previous argument by stating that "you wouldnt bully someone else unless there was something in it for you", So yeah, you disregard how you feel when being bullied and bully someone else for personal gains of some sort. In a nutshell; Its not "wrong" unless you are the one being "wronged", no?

  • @AvtomatPruneJuice But, to be honest their is two sides to the coin and im pretty sure that both of our arguments are heavily oppinionated.

  • @jaktrep I love how perfectly you`ve worded this.

Cats can go choke on dicks tho, whether you kick them or not

  • @DeafDefiler CAt flippin is fun i do it when my dogs dont wanna pay me attention

  • looks like 20 people failed their science exams xD

  • @lewistothe666 Looks like someone's pretty original for once. Thank you.

  • @crazedscotsman553

well yeah :) whats the point in simply being "normal" and copying everyone else xD

  • @lewistothe666 Ahh, yes, another crazy fuck who doesn't care what people think. And yes, i am a crazy fuck. It's the science man, it bows my mind man, or maybe i'm just a psycho. Get it? It's funny cause i'm imitating those people who take song names and put them into their posts.

  • @crazedscotsman553

well, if your that crazy then you must be chemically imblanaced :/

yeah your not the only one dude xD

  • @lewistothe666 H2O+CO2+ cocaine+the genes of a monkey= crazy fuck with a Lolita complex.

  • @lewistothe666 looks like you are a thumbwhore who didn't understand the song at all

  • @R3wdemon

ofcourse i understand the song, why else would i listen to it ?

must say though, thumbwhore original -.-

but seriously, because someone posts an ORIGINAL comment purely as a piss take out of those who dislike the song, im a "thumbwhore"

    yeah makes sense

  • @lewistothe666 ORIGINAL COMMENT??????????? ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS???

50% of the comments on youtube viceos are about the dislike bar, and you say yours is original? are you implying you invented the dislike bar commentaries, wtf?

Yes you are a thumbwhore, why else would you say what has been sayed million of times?

  • @lewistothe666 I passed mine by three percent :D

  • @lewistothe666 Sh-Shut up~!! ;_;..

*Sob* I forgot to listen to Soad on that day! ;_;!!!

  • lol, i love it how people always compare this kind of music to religion...

  • This song clearly proves that Serj believes in creation and not science

  • @MrMikethecooler i dont really see how...

  • @McNelson999 Well obviously you're deaf because the song clearly states, "Spirit goes through all things, science has failed" and come on, Serj's use verses from the bible in a lot of songs like Forest, Chop Suey, etc. It's obviously he's not an atheist nor satanist, if he was he wouldn't be singing about this. And anyway I'm not saying Serj believes in the Christian (Which it seems he does) I'm stating he believes that there is a God.

  • @McNelson999 so your deaf

  • @MrMikethecooler im sorry if im wrong i thought by creation not science you meant evolution... and just because it failed it doesnt mean it cant still be right : )

  • @McNelson999 Oh then my apologizes, I misunderstood you, though evolution is creation because evolution is science, when I mean by creationism, I mean by something divine created us, An omnipotent.

  • Thumbs up if ur overjoyed that they've reunited and are gonna release more music in the near future

  • @roflwafflaz They have? Can i get more info on this?

  • @womensrightslolz1 Yea, they went on hiatus in 06 or 07 but have reunited and r touring...for the next few months w/ possibly a new album after touring

  • @womensrightslolz1 they are almost done ttouring but i havent heard of any new albums at work but then again i havent checked their website in a while and also i dont have a twitter to check what they update so yea you might wanna look into that if you are really interested

  • @roflwafflaz As long as the new stuff doesn't blow like Hypnotize/Mezmerize then yes, I am overjoyed.

  • @dreybert5789 how can u say Mezmerize/Hypnotize blew? they werent as good as Toxicity but were still very good albums

  • @roflwafflaz Where did you hear they are gonna release more music?

  • @roflwafflaz I thumbs down you cause the near future isn't NOW!!!!!!!! ^^

  • ansome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @catbucky99 You arent supposed to stop listening until your ears are BLEEDING

  • Science is a song, not a class.

What have they been teaching these kids these days?

  • best part of the song is 1:25 through 2:05 :)

  • @NUCLEARPOWER100 Actually, the best part of the song is 0:00 through 2:47

  • @Randomness84726 true...true

  • and i don't have science at school, not anymore

  • I hope my neighbors like this song.

    ...And I'm wearing headphones

  • space wasting comment so that no one re-starts argument below . . .

  • This is why I LOVE System Of A Down <33

  • I'm deaf, but i'm still forcing myself to listen...

  • FUCKING RAINBOWS

  • SPIRIT MOVES TROUGH ALL THINGS

  • 18 idiotas não gostam ¬¬ aff .. como não gostaar dessa musica ? SOAD na veia . *O*

  • I remember this song on atv offroad fury. This song reminds me of when me and my brother chased that god damn train in freestyle mode. Good times.

  • i like every soad song but this one. science is were so advanced. any one who disagrees go live in the woods.

  • @nightfall092591 Advanced at what price? Our moral composition? Go hide in your cradle, urban-grown pussy.

  • @eggsaladinthetub Theres a price for everything. And we would be paying allot more than we do now if science did not advance. Fucking theist.

  • @HomicidalVocals Just because of our scientific advances are growing exponentially, we shouldn't forget our morals.

When did I ever state my religious orientation? Fucking Atheist.

  • @eggsaladinthetub I think its best you forget your morals kid. Because the rest of the world has. Thats just how it is. And i'm sorry, you just seemed to have a fairly narrow view of the world. There are more things that have effected our "moral composition" than just advances in science. It wouldn't make a difference to our morals if we did not have these advances or not.

  • @HomicidalVocals Should I be able to kill a man and use his body for research? Why not? I could advance so much further if I did. We start prioritizing advancement over morals. I'm not saying we can't advance any further, but that we should remember our morals when we do something that might not comply with them. It can lead to terrible things. Unless, of course, you support the Nazi's form of scientific "advancement"?

That's a harsh generalization about theists. How immature of you, kid.

  • @eggsaladinthetub Yes you should be able to kill a man for the benefit. of thousands possibly millions. Its not about morals and whether it is allowed to kill a man. It is about doing what is required to make the world a better place. And if you think that science is in breach of morals. Then maybe you should have a big long think about the world. And maybe the holocaust. Considering you have no idea what it was about.

  • @HomicidalVocals Are you illiterate, or trying to cover your ass.

Did you even read my comment?

Did I ever say that science is a breach of morals?

I know perfectly well what the holocaust was about, I was talking about various testing the regime had performed on "undesirables".

I suppose that means you support the holocaust, considering the Nazis, by killing so Non-Aryans, thought they were making the world better place.

  • @eggsaladinthetub Wow. All your doing now is putting words in my mouth. I don't care for this anymore.

  • @HomicidalVocals Or maybe you're just too stupid to carry a coherent argument. Either way. Good bye.
