I said on another video that I knew of two cases where Bob got a premature standing ovation. I forgot about this one. That crowd was all on their feet before Rod Roddy finished, I think he was kinda laughing.
I could be wrong but this is perhaps the second-longest first segment of Price in the Bob Barker-era. The longest was that dreadful, yet hilarious 'Superball Mohini' segment in a 1991 episode that was over 12 minutes. Still this was a classic opening segment because of the beginning of Price's 30th season! Thanks for posting thewhammy83!
