male budgies, at least in my opinion, like to try to breed with objects. My budgie, Simba, tried to mate with several of his toys, especially when he gets excited, like Spikey obviously was.

Nice video. My budgies hate walking on the ground, and aren't that playful. Maybe they will be soon as I only had them for 2 months.
