you would of think that htis movie would of drwan intrest in german classic films more in america but most of your classic film distributers are greedy and dont want to make the long term dollar this movie probably scared away the moderate and casual and popular classic film fans for taking moderate intrest in these worth wil classics some of us are the only ones who know that the german film industry was more than just negative propganda big stars like marika rokk never did neg prop

It was one of the reasons I eventually decided to take a class in German films.

Classic German cinema is a little-known jewel in cinematic history. UFA was a power house and that gave us many many priceless jewels.
