It's semantics, but speed option is pitching off of EMOLOS--quick pitch, hence the word speed. Zone Option is pitching off the force and zoning the front.
Say its a 44 cover 3, then Y and H still block 1 and 2 deep so corner and FS. Tackle still hooks playside end, unless he is in a ghost 9.. then F blocks the end and Tackle goes to backer. But playside tackle and F are responsible for End and Inside Backer. We still read outside backer as force and pitch off of him.

I use Microsoft Powerpoint to create the images and use Camtasia to produce it and turn it into video with voice over.

what program do you use to design your plays?

It is speed option, because you are blocking the EMOL and pitching on the Flat or Force defender.

This is zone option, not speed option.

Well, in my offense its Speed Option. You can call it whatever you want in your program.

It is not a zone option, zone option has no pitch man.
Your thinking of Zone read, Zone option is where the Line Zone blocks and the QB reads the backside end to wether give it or keep it.
A speed Option(which this is) is a straight option play from the shotgun

I might have missed it, but how does the blocking change if it's a four-linebacker set?
