@TWutangT The chicken strip garnish doesn't count? Chef Robert explains, "I thought about pureeing the chicken into the shake, but I felt like that was taking things one step too far."
...But wouldn't the shake just taste like sauce? I would have blended chicken (without breading) into the shake and then also used the crispy chicken strip as the garnish. But that might make it taste terrible... I'm not a chef so I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Also: Did you calculate how much calories this had? I thought that'd be interesting.
@Weezerlover94 Hey, thanks! I added everything up and as prepared in the video, one shake totals 735 calories -- roughly the equivalent of 8 traditional bone-in wings. And yes, after finding that out, I'm kind of wishing I hadn't done the math.
@mkeithblanchard Yes indeed—the ultimate food paradox! We were just hoping Robert wouldn't break the space-time continuum when he blended everything together.
@EvilAikido You got us there, Aikido. Anchovies—who knew? In that case, substitute traditional Worcestershire Sauce with a vegetarian option like Annie's Naturals Organic Vegan Worcestershire Sauce.
That's our baby!

@CoDCory Yeah Tracey is actually very funny. She's really quick, she had a lot of gems, some of which we weren't able to use in this SuperFan series.

I'm going to make this, but without the cheese

The look on his face said otherwise. Besides, this didn't contain any chicken so it's a fail.

@30RockSuperFans No such thing as taking a step too far when he hasn't tried it.

@shaunmccauley1 Score! That's incredible. Liz would be proud. I take it this was an off-menu special? Was the recipe similar to Robert's?

Could it work with ranch instead of the bleu cheese? I hope so. :]
ChrisDMatarazzo 3 months ago
@ChrisDMatarazzo - Definitely! Although we wonder what you would use as the garnish instead of blue cheese crumbles...

This would make an amazing iced bloody mary.

@jmrich2 Correct! But isn't everything better with a little buffalo sauce?
30RockSuperFans 3 months ago
Deliciously decadent. So it would be extra spicy, and yet cool your mouth at the same time? I'm confused, and want my mommy.

Technically, if it has Worcestershire Sauce in it then it's not vegetarian, as there be anchovies in that sauce.
