btw i bought an older kind of antenna before and it turned out to be receiving 0 channels while i live in the city of buffalo(which i dont think its rural at all). is there a huge difference between this and the older ones
i have the same one without the amplifier and im in the basement im in the city and i specifically want it to better the spanish channels for my mom cuz if i dont every day i have to dance around the dam tv just to get signal and its not the tv cuz it is hd 1080i
I got one a few hours ago and it works great for me. But I live in the city. But it did help get channels that I couldn't get with just rabbit ears. So I would agree with this guy that if you live in the city, get it. If you live out of the city, pass and get an outdoor antenna
Thanks for posting. What model number is that? I see differing prices here in Canada from $40 to more than $70 and found that too much, but perhaps the specs are different too (yet i doubt it).

Not worth the money--I made a home made one that works better, and does not need an amplifier either.

It says on the back of the device, 1930GM. I'm pretty sure it's the same model as on amazon. That is the RCA 1650R
