ITS REALLY GOOD. but what i find annoying that people don't pay attention to is that a few unknown actors makes the movie more interesting. having top notch celebrities play movie is annoying and crushing

Maybe,  but the simple truth behind this is, it's much easier to get footage of popular actors than of unknown people, that's why they are used in many videos.

It doesn't necessarily mean that they would be the best casting choice.

Really good! I love the song choice-- the lyrics about achieving peace and equality, then seeing what it took to get it(an alien invasion) gave it a twisted and creepy edge which made the trailer extremely enjoyable. This trailer also reminds me that my copy is sitting on my bookself waiting to be read...*cough* Telling it from Melanie's side made it seem more intriguing.

Anyway, great work. You have a real knack (sp?) for making amazing trailers. ^^

This video is amazingly executed. Clearly, you have some major editing/finding and putting things together talent. I just think that the song doesn't fit the tone of the novel. We see things through Wanderer, and this song is more from the perspective of Melanie, who is really the secondary character.

woah. okay...not gonna lie...i'm not a fan of ian somerhalder for ian in the host (however jensen and sophia = AMAZINGNESS!!!) --but this trailer is fricken awesome.

seriously...using this version of "imagine" for this--it gave me chills. it just has this creepy yet completely bad ass vibe...totally awesome for the host.

I agree, Ian Somerhalder doesn't seem like Ian. I know that it's now how he was described, but I can imagine HIM played by Jensen Ackles, or Jared I guess, but I just don't think of him as as Ian Somerhalder.
