although what you wrote is correct, it is a colloquial form of expression, which is used when speaking... if the sentence was written in the standard, formal way of writing Punjabi, it would be as follows:
"bahut shukriya ji, main punjabi boli sikhh riha haan ate mainun eh film pasand hai"
@Jamesbamba "riha haan" gets shortened to either "ria haan", "riaa'n" or "riaa waan" depending on the region and dialect.... the "ate" is the standard form of the shorter "te" (meaning 'and').... "eh" means this and in speech most speakers are mostly likely to either say "aa" or "eh", again depending on the region.... and "hai" can be expressed as "aa", "ay", "haiga / haigi", although there are other alternatives as well... don't worry though, what u wrote was totally correct
