  • Dear God... I'm all for D.I.Y. e-kits but this one? Not so much...

  • So, you get instant sound from your PC when playing ?

  • @mragw get an asio card dude

  • We have not noticed any sound latency with my equipment. Check with Alesis.

  • ok, what about sound latency?..

  • The cymbals and drums are made of hardboard we call masonite in Sweden. The small piezo speakers are placed on the bottom side of the drums and connected to Alesis trigger i/o. When you hit the drum, the piezo speaker makes a sound which the Alesis translates into a Midi number and sends to the computer which translates the Midi number to an drum sound . It is difficult to solder the cable to the piezo speaker. We managed using very little heat, just barely melting the solder and be quick.

  • Qué sonido del orto que le sacaste papá.

  • holy hell, is that wood ?

  • The triggers are simple piezospeakers we got from greetingcards, the type that plays 'Happy birthday'. The triggers are connected to Alesis trigger i/o, the small black box you can see glimpses of behind the guy playing. Alesis connects to the computer with USB.

  • Hey olha0707, how did you run the triggers to your computer?
