Yes the University of California and Hong Kong University provided generous grants to Berkeley Prof. Barry Sautman and Prof. Yan Hairong who used participants from mainland China, who were academics, businessmen and businesswomen to acquire their information to support their paper. No Tibetans were involved in their findings. Several learned educators stated his findings were weak and full of half-truths and innuendos an has chosen to write this nonsense for personal advancement

i wonder if china is really changing in its essence. I mean, it changes above all economically. But Economy is not Politics. Apparently, capitalism goes quite well with communist rule. But isn't it weird that people of china seem to be the slaves of this economy and this rule. They are simply not able and not allowed to think themselves. This huge economical progress is handled by an elite. Is there actually a middle class that shows engagement for business and society and thus responsibility?
