Thanks for showing the "classical" seating postion. I thought I was an oddball because I always play with my guitar on my left leg. It just felt more comfortable from the beggining. I tried setting it on my right leg, like I see in just about every video, but I don't play as well. Now I don't feel as though I'm doing it "wrong"!
you can play the "casual position" with a footstool under the right leg though, which raises the guitar up a bit.

I completely agree with classical position. I feel more comfortable playing in that position rather than the casual.
