um, the warning pictures specifically prohibit putting your hand in it. But neat idea :)

You are right: we do NOT want anybody to put your hand or your cat or whatsoever inside the machine *g*
BUT we wanted to demonstrate that the temperature / the PVC film shrinking process does NO harm even to unprotected body parts like your hand.
In other words: do NOT use the machine bare-footed but if you did you will not run the risk of getting burnt.
