If you have ever taken a Statistics class you would know that a representative sample to prove a theory needs much more than that.

I'm going to give you an example. In Geology, they use a technique to prove how old Earth is by "ASSUMING" that America and Africa/Europe/Asia were close together. Then they noticed that each year all these continents separate at a rate of 0.5 inches per year or something like that. Based on the distance, they calculate how much it took for them to become separated as they are today. This is based on collected data during 100 years or less. Can you notice the flaw there? Use your logic, use it.
These are the flaws I found in that Geology theory. 1st of all, geologists ASSUME these continents have separated at this rate ALWAYS. But this is a flawed assumption because nobody measured how fast they separated 200 years ago, or 500 years ago, or 1000 years ago.What if they separated at a rate of 10 inches per year 3000 years ago? or 24 inches per year 6000 years ago? Another is the statistical flaw. 100 years of collected data is meaningless to represent what happened for millions of years.
I can continue on like this to find many flaws in other theories as well. To me as a civil engineer, it makes more sense the Bible's account of the flood than the slow strata formation and evolution. The concepts I learned in Civil Engineering like the study of foundations, elemental manipulation to acquire stronger steel, bending, and the way fluids act and react, show strong support to the flood theory because I find in nature indication that support the effects of a global flood.
Mr. Ben, I never acknowledged that the Earth is millions of years old. I was merely offering an example of why a hundred years of collected data is not statistically suitable or acceptable to represent millions of years. Any expert on statistics would immediately dismiss such sample as a weak representation of a whole. This statistical assertion is something that people that want to desperately believe that Earth is millions or billions or "zillions" of years old should take into consideration.

It took me 10 years to finish those degrees. Geology for engineers was one of those courses that left many questions unanswered. Not even my professor back in 1999 was able to answer many of those questions.You don't even know the absurd theories I suffered for years. Most of them based on data collected for merely 150 years to represent supposedly millions of years. If you have ever taken a Statistics class you would know that a representative sample to prove a theory needs much more than that.

I'm going to give you an example. In Geology, they use a technique to prove how old Earth is by "ASSUMING" that America and Africa/Europe/Asia were close together. Then they noticed that each year all these continents separate at a rate of 0.5 inches per year or something like that. Based on the distance, they calculate how much it took for them to become separated as they are today. This is based on collected data during 100 years or less. Can you notice the flaw there? Use your logic, use it.

These are the flaws I found in that Geology theory. 1st of all, geologists ASSUME these continents have separated at this rate ALWAYS. But this is a flawed assumption because nobody measured how fast they separated 200 years ago, or 500 years ago, or 1000 years ago.What if they separated at a rate of 10 inches per year 3000 years ago? or 24 inches per year 6000 years ago? Another is the statistical flaw. 100 years of collected data is meaningless to represent what happened for millions of years.

I can continue on like this to find many flaws in other theories as well. To me as a civil engineer, it makes more sense the Bible's account of the flood than the slow strata formation and evolution. The concepts I learned in Civil Engineering like the study of foundations, elemental manipulation to acquire stronger steel, bending, and the way fluids act and react, show strong support to the flood theory because I find in nature indication that support the effects of a global flood.

fossils have only been harvested since around 1820-1830 so give it some time to be millions but there are tens of thousands. Some of those dinosaurs themselves are >100 million years old. If they link one species with another, it is obvious that there should be something in between. You cannot claim one species magically transformed into another. This is where millions of transitional fossils would come in handy for your pseudo-theory to work. We are forgiven Sinners! ....so why did you visit this site? just to criticize some thing you don't under stand? Only know this God loves you and the time is coming that you will have to make a decision, there is no more time, no more gray area.
