Let me educate our American chums:

England has a variety of different accents, everyone speaks an accent depending on the region. Stephen Merchant (Wheatley) is from the west of England so his accent is considered a Western accent. There are accents for the North, South and East as well and many cities in England have their own distinct accent such as Liverpool (think Beatles) or Manchester. So like America, England has its own range of accents. So don't bias our accents on just Wheatley lol
