  • BTW: The green capacitors on the motherboard I have replaced myself. They used to be purple.

    It was quite common in for period that Taiwanese motherboard makers used capacitors that use fluids made from a stolen formula. however this formula was flawed, and the capacitors only lasted 2 years (just long enough so the warranty had expired).

  • Yes it is. Back when I using this as my primary PC, I had added 2 extra 80mm fans on the sides of the heatsinks, and I had made a 100mm pipe to provide fresh cold air for the outside (the PC was in a closest).

    I was considering water cooling. But after seeing my electric bill I decided to get a newer, but slower PC.
