Basically 14 or so people win decent amount of cash for spending all their time on pointless video games. This can't possibly be a career unless you win every single tournament year around. If you lose, your fucked no water, electricity, or food for you till next tournament.

All you people saying drop cod need too stop being so ignorant. Competitively cod still takes some skill, Just a different set of skill. And it pulls in an audience which is what its all about. Taking it out will cut a whole section of people off of MLG. We should be making MLG grow by adding games, Not removing them because WE personally dont like them.
@TheAspectZ Call of Duty is a really weak competitive game. There is an insanely shallow skill gap and gun skill is hardly needed. it is more about who can set up better in head glitches and other power positions. The game doesn't hold a candle to Halo or Gears of War on a competitive level. This is coming from a cod player that has played against all the top players and teams in the cod community. As long as it brings in viewers it will stay but from what I hear it isn't doing amazing.

How is call of duty even classed as a competitive game? Keep in mind the other games are 4-5 player teams. 25K per player for the winning Halo team compared to 50K for the SC2 champion. 12.5 K per player for CoD.
Im sure SC2 will get the largest increase in its prize pool next year though.

Keep in mind the other games are 4-5 player teams. 25K per player for the winning Halo team compared to 50K for the SC2 champion. 12.5 K per player for CoD.
Im sure SC2 will get the largest increase in its prize pool next year though.
