Gerard Butler is the cutest phantom of the opera. Lon Chaney was a good phantom but he was ugly. Even scary.

i love this song, but come on, guys. the phantom is manipulating her, killing anyone that gets in his way, and kidnapped her. as much as i love phantom/christine, that's one screwed up relationship that i do not approve of, no matter how damaged erik is.

I'm sorry, but Gerard Butler is a better phantom then Michael Crawford. And Emmy is a better Christine then Sara Brightman. Gerard understands the passion the phantom has, and his voice is hypnotic and seductive. Emmy has the perfect voice for Christine, she doesnt over do it Like Sara does. And she seems very lost in his voice whenever he sings. When Roaul comes in out of no where, it ruins everything. =_=

I was like all listening in joy to this and looking at the pictures until 1:14 "Ohh, fuck oooof Raul...." The guy can sing, but he takes away Christine from Gerard, and that's the worst thing you can possibly do..Gerard deserves her so much more, and his love for her goes so much deeper... :'-(

I agree that Gerard has a very nice voice, but he definitely needed more vocal training before participating in a role that is mainly (or was SUPPOSED to be) focused on the music.

I totally agree, Gerry is fantastic as the phantom, he makes you fall in love with him even though he is disfigured and this is the whole point of the musical, you were supposed to be hypnotised by him. Emmy is beautiful as Christine and the film never let the stage version down.
