There's also a serpent designed in the streets- the tail end is at the Lincoln Memorial (it points up, northward) and the body is formed by Independence Ave as the belly and Constitution Ave as the upper/back. The capitol building (owl formation) is in the heart/belly of the serpent. C Street forms the top of it's head and RFK stadium is the eye with E Capitol street as the tongue sticking out. If you actually look in to it, the Mayans are saying that it is the end of an age, not the end of the world. The earth will complete its 2000 odd year wobble, and a bunch of stars and planets will be aligned. It is the ens of thier long count calidar, and what happens when it is the end of our yearly calendar? We get a new one. Thier beliefs are that everything is a cycle and repeats. The whole water thing is we will be moving in to the age of Aquarius the water bearer. A constalation.
