Respond to this video... oh ...an it may not have as much but its does contain protein in comkparable quantities, an yes even cholesterol enhancing fats...HDL (the bad kind) and reason people tolerate lactose is becuase its an important nutritional supplement to our diet...ever hear of a "nanny goat" and the goats like it.
@macandease Silk Almond Milk is made from almonds, not soybeans. Their Soy Milk is made from non-GMO, North American soybeans. Cows are not meant to be milked anymore than cats, mice, monkeys, and humans are meant to be milked.
love almondmilk! The only prolem is that they use calcium carbonate to fortify the milk. If anyone is taking any kind of meds within 3hours of drinking the almond milk, it could block the effectiveness of the medication. They should use calcium citrate, which is unbound. This is especially true with anyone taking thyroid medication.
millions of baby cow are slaughtered every year just for humans to drink THEIR milk when there are alternatives for humans!!! almond and soy are actually healthier for human. GOOGLE IT. I hope people will understand this so no more innocent calf would have to be breed and slaughtered for their milk =(
the pain and suffer the mother and her calf have to go through is nothing compared to milk prices these days and human benefit. i hope i made sense.
