question, you gott crazy knowledge, i cant get my midi keyboard to input my note exactly the point i press the key. it lags by like half a sec when it plays through FL studio. how do i sync the attack?

@911scamper I took a few years of piano lessons as a kid, it helped me gain the basic knowledge of keys and chords. Now I just know my way around a piano from being on one for so long.

quantize after you record and make sure that you record in either 8 bar or 16 bar clicks so you definitely have to know the right bpm for the track that you are trying to do

My question is, why would you use a Korg triton as a midi controller?

If your going to use a Korg Triton (As I do) .... Import the sounds on the Korg and use them also. Otherwise you waisted an amount of money and you could of saved much by purchasing a M-AUDIO Midi Controller.

Only reasonw hy I say that, is you're using FL Studios VST's & Soundfonts, which makes the Korg a simple Midi Controller.

Well I used all hardware for years (Motif Rack, XV-3080, Mo Phatt, Mackie Mixers, etc), I have about 10k worth of gear I don't even use anymore except the Triton. Then I was introduced to VST's and transitioned over to all software, but I'm keeping my Triton for sentimental value lol

Can't direct feed into my camcorder or digital cam but I might get this HP webcam soon that has direct feed into the software, I def wanna do that so it's cleaner and sounds better.

Not sure about 'get to the point' a lot of people like seeing the freestyles and see what inspires and leads to the melody/sound I end up using.

how did you make that first instrument you play do that thing when the snare hits? It sounds like it you have press they keys again and theres a real quick attack on it, but you just hold down the keys.
