Mosin Nagant M38 Accuracy Challenge Part 1

Was considering getting this rifle, then again the only range (i know of) near me is 1000 yard shooting so i dont think it'll manage it.

If you put some grease where the cocking piece slides on the bolt body you can cut alot of frition off when cocking it.

Hey jubbles , I dont know if you can get a mosin 91/59 in the UK but if you can you must if you like your M38. I have found that they are much more refined and have better sights than a m38. Mine is definably my favorite mosin and a favored hunting carbine. I get great accuracy with mine as the bores are pristine and not counterbored on the m91/59 . Check into them

@TaZ101SAGA it has yet to shoot sub moa however with more practice and new handloads there are exciting times tom come! I have no idea yet as to how the rifle will perform, oh and at least 8 more videos are on the way

Is that your TULA rifle ?.....sweet job experimenting with the bullets and such. I tried to shoot my new moisin last weekend but couldnt...because its summer time out here and very dry , u can only shoot commercial lead free ammo. They wouldnt let me shoot my steel core surplus rounds because a richochet could cause a fire...fuckin bummer..have u tried privi partisan in this caliber?...I bought some winchester rounds but they are 25dollars a box!!...screw that

R15 seemed to group preety nice . are you gonna try this rifle at longer distances ?

@idgewe it grouped 2inches at 100yards, I will be doing several more loads at 100yards and will be taking the M38 to 300 adn 600yd ranges.

The Enfield Accuracy series is yet to finish and the 91/30 will also have its accuracy series along with the mini 14! lots to come!!!
